Angel brings 5 years of experience working as a Project Accountant and Cost Controller in the real estate, power, and utility industries supporting large CapEx projects. Successfully managed the budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and auditing of multiple projects, ensuring SOX compliance, accuracy, and transparency among all the stakeholders. Her goal is to leverage her financial expertise to help organizations achieve their strategic and financial objectives.
Angel has contributed to the improvement of customer relationship management, accounts receivable, and cash flow reconciliations, using analytical, problem-solving, and strong communication skills. She has a strong servant leadership approach that strives to be proactive and engaging with both internal and external stakeholders. As a Cost Manager expert for Pathfinder, Angel ensures our clients’ project expenditures are captured and properly recorded. Angel has built financial dashboards that help the team track the financial health of their projects on a weekly basis. She also coordinates workshops to ensure that the team in aligned when changes to the project’s scope are made. She is leading the Ecosys effort for one of her portfolios. This involves getting the project fully loaded into the new system.
Angel earned her B.S. in Finance from San Francisco State University and her M.S. in Accountancy from Saint Mary’s College in Moraga CA. She is certified by the Change Management Certified Acuity Institute and holds a Six Sigma Green Belt Expert Rating. She is also proficient in SAP, Primavera, Yardi Voyager, Microsoft Excel (X-Lookup, SUMIFS, CountIFS, Index Match, Pivot Tables), Dynamics 365, Power BI, Power Plan, ProjectWise, and Business Objects.
In her spare time, Angel likes to play in pickleball tournaments with her friends. She loves traveling and has a thirst for adventure. She has gone scuba diving, shark tank diving, and has solo traveled all over the world.
