Project Scheduling/Time Management
CHALLENGE:
A large petrochemical company was short on internal resources to oversee Project Control services on a $200MM+ international revamp project. This project was extremely complex and involved coordination of two shutdowns with the integration of a capital project as well.
SERVICES:
By providing the Project Control Team position on this revamp project, Pathfinder was able to offer a solution that developed reporting mechanisms and tracking tools that afforded the client an objective and realistic perspective of the status and overall direction of the project at all times.
RESULTS:
This allowed the client’s project manager to implement a number of recommended preventive and corrective measures which resulted in the successful achievement of project objectives, including completion of all the work in a shutdown period of four months — one month ahead of schedule. At an adjacent facility, a similar project was being executed concurrently.
