Jared Contat is a Cost Management and Project Controls subject matter expert with more than 14 years of experience delivering project management, project controls, and PMIS solutions across the construction, energy, infrastructure, technology, and higher education sectors. Throughout his career, he has served in roles ranging from project manager and field superintendent to project controls manager, scheduler, cost engineer, and solution architect.

At Pathfinder, Jared helps clients improve project predictability, governance, and financial performance through the implementation of integrated project controls and enterprise systems. He has led solution architecture and PMIS implementations for organizations including Microsoft, Harvard University, Cargill, BP, BHP Billiton, Petronas, Energy Transfer, WSP, Motiva, Williams, and Google. His expertise includes project controls, cost management, business process improvement, ERP integration, solution design, and organizational change management.

Jared is highly skilled in SAP, Oracle, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Omega365, and EcoSys, and has developed and delivered project management and project controls training programs for global organizations. He is known for partnering closely with clients and stakeholders to deliver practical solutions that drive measurable business value.

He earned a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from the University of Florida’s M.E. Rinker, Sr. School of Construction Management and participated in an international exchange program at Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
