At Pathfinder, we know that strong project controls are essential for delivering predictable and successful outcomes.
We recently designed and facilitated a two-day Project Control Training program for a major U.S. refining organization. The goal was to equip project leaders with the knowledge and practical skills needed to plan, monitor, and control complex projects effectively.
The training began with establishing project baselines through planning, scheduling, estimating, and risk management practices. From there, participants learned how to control against those baselines using cost and schedule management, progress measurement, and contract administration.
A major focus was hands-on application. Attendees worked through real-world scenarios, giving them both the theoretical understanding and the confidence to apply these methods in their own projects.
Project control is not a one-time activity but a continuous discipline that improves visibility, reduces risk, and strengthens decision-making. Pathfinder is proud to deliver programs that give project leaders the tools and confidence to keep projects on track and achieve success.
