Zach is one of Pathfinder’s Lead Schedulers who brings over 10 years of Project Controls experience in scheduling best practices, detail planning and scheduling, schedule analytics, Earned Value Management, Dashboards for capital projects, and Turnarounds. He brings construction project experience for Infrastructure, Chemicals, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, and Pharmaceutical industries. He has assisted in developing Risk Analysis models using Monte Carlo simulations across programs such as Acumen Fuse, and @Risk for several Pathfinder clients.
Prior to joining Pathfinder, Zach held roles as a Project Controls Analyst, Supervisor, Associate Operations Leader, and several Project Controls roles among others. He has experience in tracking project progress utilizing Primavera P6 and Earned Value Systems. He has also successfully managed manpower levels using P6 to advise site managers of the project’s manpower needs and sequencing of construction activities to optimize the manpower required and reduce time. Zach is proficient in estimating, procurement, productivity of crews, progressing turnarounds, and identifying maintenance opportunities for plant equipment.
Zach earned a BS in Construction Management and two Minors in Business Administration and Technical Sales from Louisiana State University. He also holds a Yellow Belt and Green Belt in Six Sigma and is certified in Primavera P6. Zach is a member of the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering International (AACE) and is Pathfinder’s Future Leader representative for the Association for the Capital Projects Engineering and Construction Contracting Association (ECC). In his spare time, he enjoys… spending time with his wife and 4 children, raising and breeding goats, chickens rabbits, and dogs. Zach also enjoys participating in F3 Beatdowns, the "domestic church" movement, saltwater fishing, cooking and eating!
