Pathfinder Assists in the CII Ideation Process
Pathfinder's Paul Williams facilitated an Ideation session at the November Construction Industry Institute Board of Advisors meeting.
Identifying new research topics is the first and most critical step to generating value for CII members. This year, CII designed an ideation process to leverage member input and ultimately create a list of topics that will drive a positive impact on the businesses of our member companies.
Six breakout groups reviewed the 12 topics selected for consideration. The groups were asked to identify opportunities for improvement and/or redirection.
After the breakout sessions, each topic was presented by a member of their respective breakout group and all attendees ranked the 12 topics. The figure below shows the outcome of the ranking vote.
CII intends to address all the topics in the list, but the BOA ranking will guide the priorities as we plan for 2023 and, most importantly, the feedback from the board meeting will allow CII to improve these topics significantly.
