Principal Associate
Anar, is a Principal Associate for Pathfinder. She is a strategy management and business transformation professional with 10 years of experience in cost excellence of energy and infrastructure projects. She has demonstrated proficiency in project cost excellence, control and analysis, strategy implementation, business transformation and office management. Her business transformation experience has been on process improvement and Enterprise Resource Plan (ERP) tool implementation, such as SAP (BluePrint and Business Warehouse).
She is currently providing Project Control services for a leading global pharmaceutical corporation for real-estate/facilities upgrade project. Her responsibilities among others include assisting Project Team in successful project delivery, perform Project Cost Risk Assessment, proactively analyze cost trends to provide basis for estimating financial gains or losses on the project, and deliver Monthly Executive Reports.
Previously with Shell, Anar contributed to company’s community infrastructure improvement program. She supported a variety of EPC projects following Shell’s stage gate project maturation process for oil and gas ($30-90 MM), facilities and infrastructure ($40-70 MM) projects. She performed Value of Work Done (VOWD), cost trend analysis (S-Curve), Earned Value Management (EVM), contracts administration, cost variance and reconciliation analyses. Anar also managed stakeholders, such as, partners, project managers, C&P, finance/accounting, 3rd party auditors, contractors and suppliers.
Anar received her MBA from University of Houston-Victoria (Texas) with concentration in Strategic Management. As part of the MBA program, Anar has been instrumental in strategic analysis for HVAC service industry in the USA, proposing efficient/sustainable use of retired intermodal containers for Maersk Line, and use of big data analytics to enable service innovation in the project services organization.
She is multi-lingual fluent in English, Russian and Kazakh, with limited proficiency in Italian.
Anar is a wife and a mother of two wonderful boys (ages 5 and 7). In her spare time, she enjoys travel and learning about different cultures and visiting places of interest. On days off, Anar likes to spend time with the family and friends. Her hobbies include painting, crafting and karaoke. She also likes to coach and help others.
