Pathfinder's, Steve Cabano, will present "Project Control for Owner Project Portfolios" at the Department of Energy Project Management Workshop on April 3, 2024 in Washington, DC.
This presentation will address current impacts on project controls, specifically the role of Advanced Work Packaging (AWP). As the industry trends towards increased utilization of digital technology, AWP is gaining more traction. As AWP evolves, there is a major impact on how projects will be estimated, planned, and controlled. The session will also address the commitment needed to gain the benefits of AWP, and how this will affect the Project Control group.
