In this Interactive 1-day (7 PDH) virtual workshop, attendees discover the importance of Commissioning & Start-Up (C&SU) planning during the front-end development activities and building these requirements into the overall Project Execution Plan. This workshop addresses the various steps in the handover process of Mechanical Completion, Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning Start-up and handover. Through live instruction and collaborative break-out sessions, attendees will understand the importance of developing a roles and responsibilities type matrix for all the activities involved in the process. This workshop addresses the importance of operations and maintenance involvement not only during C&SU activities but all the way back in the early Front End Planning stages. Construction Industry Institute research topics, concepts and tools are introduced throughout the course. (Please Note: Courses take place in the Eastern Time Zone)
